Merry Christmas
The Village office will be closed on December 24, 2025 at noon and will reopen on January 5, 2026.

Winter Conditions
Due to the extreme cold all snow removal operations for the Village will not resume for today-snow windrows will be attended to on Monday December 15, 2025. Favourable temperatures for road sanding will be monitored over the weekend by Public Works.
The Village of Kitscoty is removing snow as per Village Snow Removal Policy today. The wind speeds and extreme cold are making icy road conditions. However, the use of sand on the roads is ineffective with extreme cold temperatures forecast for today and the next couple of days. We will be monitoring road conditions as temperatures rise over the weekend, to determine when sanding will be effective to alleviate icy patches around the Village. Please use extra caution and drive according to the road conditions.
New Council Meeting Date
The Council Meeting on October 27th has been moved to Monday November 3rd (regular meeting and organizational meeting) at 6:30 PM in Council Chambers.
