Development Permit
Development Permit Application – A Development Permit is required for new construction, renovation and to change how a building is used. The Development Permit approves the location, size and use of a building with consideration given to zoning, existing construction and may be subject to certain conditions. A Development Permit is required before you apply for a Building Permit.
Business Development Permit
Business Development Permit Application – A Development Permit is required for all business development in Kitscoty. This includes commercial businesses and home businesses.
Safety Code Permits
Inspections Group Building Permit Application, Inspections Group Electrical Permit Application, Inspections Group Gas Permit Application, Inspections Group Plumbing Permit Application– The Village of Kitscoty contracts The Inspections Group to issue the Safety Code Permits within the municipal boundaries of Kitscoty.

Cat & Dog License Applications
Cat & Dog License Applications – Animal tags expire on December 31 of every year and new tags are required on January 1st of every year. Purchase before February 28 of each year and receive a 50% discount.
Village of Kitscoty Complaint Form
Village of Kitscoty Complaint Form – All concerns and complaints must be submitted to the Village Office. Complete the Village of Kitscoty Complaint Form and submit by email, fax or mail. Anonymous concerns and complaints will not be investigated.
Fire Pit Permit
Fire Pit Permit – All residents must have an approved burn permit within the Village. They are free of charge. Contact the Village for more information.

Village of Kitscoty FCSS Application – FCSS provides funding for social programs that are of a preventive in nature that promote and enhance the well-being among individuals, families and communities. Property & Facility Rental Agreement
Village of Kitscoty Property and Facility Rental Agreement – Community Organizations and Citizens may request to use the Village’s Property and Facilities for community activities or private events. For the rental of the property and/or facility to be guaranteed, the Village of Kitscoty Property and Facility Rental Agreement must be completed and returned to the Village Office.
Residential Contact Information and Email Consent Form
Residential Contact Information – Resident’s contact information can be updated with the Village of Kitscoty by completing the Residential Contact Information and Email Consent Form. The Village of Kitscoty is offering delivery of utility bills via e-mail. To receive your utility bill via e-mail, a consent form must be signed and returned to the Village Office by email, fax or dropped off at the Office. .

Senior Tax Deferral Program
Senior Tax Deferral Program (SPTD) allows eligible senior homeowners to defer all or part of their annual residential property taxes through a low-interest home equity loan with the Government of Alberta. The Senior Tax Deferral Program Application must be submitted to Seniors Property Tax Deferral Program, PO BOX 1200, Edmonton, AB T5J 2M4.
Request for Assessment Information
Request for Assessment Information – The purpose of this form is for an assessed person, or their authorized agent, to request under section 299 of the Municipal Government Act, “information to show how the assessor prepared the assessment of that person’s property”.
